EXIT Realty pays secretarial bonuses to support staff across North America

Leadership in the real estate industry takes on many forms, not the least of which is the role of office Administrator. We at EXIT Realty Corp. International believe so strongly in the contribution made by our Administrators that we built a Secretarial Bonus right into the EXIT Formula. A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT International is put aside and paid out to our offices’ secretarial and administrative staff as a special thank you from Head Office for a job well-done. Since 2000, we’ve paid out over $1 Million in secretarial bonuses.

It’s the job of EXIT’s Franchise Support Department to train and support our Administrators in all things EXIT. Heading up the team is Manager, Sharron Richardson. “In my experience, after working over 30 years, I have found you can break workers down into two distinct groups. One group believes the company owes them a paycheck simply because they showed up. The other group believes they owe the company a solid day’s work, and in return, receive a paycheck for their efforts,” she says. “You have to be invited to join EXIT – we’re a pretty exclusive group. Therefore it goes without saying that we are looking for the latter, those distinct and rare people who get great satisfaction out of doing a job well. We have high expectations of everyone at EXIT throughout the entire corporation and we won’t settle for less.” These expectations, of course, extend to our Administrators.

“We expect our Administrators to put procedures and policies in place in their offices that place accountability where it belongs, and prevent problems and disagreements down the road,” she says. “Administrators are leaders who should set the standards for conduct in the office and accept nothing less.”

Regardless of your role in the real estate industry; sales representative, broker/owner, regional owner, support staff - are you the kind of person who shows up with the goal to make a positive impact on your circle of influence? Do you show up determined to give everything you’ve got because you want to, not because you have to? Are you grateful for your opportunities? Do you give the business of Real Estate a good name?
