With a background in financial services, Angelo broke onto the real estate scene in 2007 and found EXIT Realty immediately. "I was referred to the company through an EXIT broker and it really came about when I met Founder and CEO, Steve Morris, Canadian President, Joyce Paron, Senior Vice President of Franchise Sales for Canada, Ed Martens and Franchise Sales Representative, Chantal Desharnais. I saw the solid company structure in place, the experienced people behind it and wanted to be a part of it," he explained. Franchisee, Tony Valenti was both shocked and amazed by the welcome he received from fellow EXIT owners when he purchased his office, which was something he had never experienced before in this business.
"Other Canadian EXIT franchise owners sent along welcome gifts and were nice enough to extend offers to help me if I ever needed," he recalled. "That was one thing I never had at my previous franchise brand, and it’s a real plus to me."
Since making the switch to EXIT, Tony’s goal is to build a network of offices, with his current flagship location housing between 50 and 60 agents.His new, renovated 4,700 square foot office exemplifies luxury, complete with granite and ceramic flooring as well as wood finishings."

But Tony wasn’t always this sure of EXIT. Before meeting with another local EXIT associate, he explained that he almost dismissed the idea all together."As a good agent would do, the associate asked for 10 minutes of my time and sold me on the EXIT model," he recalled. "The sponsoring concept was exactly what I was looking for. I didn’t want to pound the pavement anymore; I wanted to grow an office, oversee and mold great agents. It’s hard to imagine where I’d be if I hadn’t given her those 10 life-changing minutes."
