Little Rock, Arkansas (Grassroots Newswire) March 27, 2009 -- EXIT Realty Deaton Group will host their 2nd annual Golf Tournament on Tuesday, April 21 at The Country Club of Arkansas in Maumelle. The tournament will benefit the Genetics Research Department at Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Shotgun start time is 1 pm and lunch for all registered players begins at 11:30 am. Registration is $100 per player or $400 per team and cash prizes will be given to players in the top three teams in each flight. Prizes will be awarded for longest drive and closest to the pin. A number of sponsorships are available all a variety of levels.

The tournament, now in its second year, began as a way to give back to the community and raise awareness for Landau-Kleffner Syndrome.

“My family and I owe a great deal to Arkansas Children’s Hospital due to the treatment provided to my son, Crosse. Without the knowledge and experience of Dr. Sharp and his team, my son’s battle with Landau-Kleffner Syndrome could have left permanent disabilities”, states Scott Deaton, Broker/Owner of EXIT Realty Deaton Group. “Landau-Kleffner Syndrome is an extremely rare disorder. My goal is to raise awareness of this disorder so other families understand the symptoms and know the treatments available at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.”
