Staying abreast of an Internet phenomenon

EXIT Realty Georgia reports:

EXIT Realty Georgia Brokers and Agents have been busy networking through Facebook, YouTube, ActiveRain and other social networking platforms. Blogging has become an important part of the real estate business and we are staying abreast of this Internet phenomenon.

I started my Active Rain account in June or July and I blog about every 3-4 days. Basically it is like an online journal. In my blogs I always offer help to my fellow REALTORS. Sometimes I blog about good things that happen and then sometimes I vent. In March, when we were at the EXIT Realty Georgia Convention, I received a call from a lady that had read about my short sale frustrations and success in Active Rain. She explained she was new to the business and wanted to learn how to do short sales and foreclosures but the lady that had all the experience in her office was not willing to help! So I started sharing with her and giving her tips on how to work the deals out and how to "attract" business. Then BAM! things started happening! I always told her call me when needing help and also to call me when something good happens too! So for the past 10 months, I have listened and helped her.
